Simply Fantastic
La Quinta by Wyndham Twin FallsThis hotel is new, fresh, stylish, clean and supremely dog friendly. If you can book it, do it! Some reviews complain that the dog areas are full of poop. I only found luxurious green grass. But if I HAD found poop, I wouldn't blame the hotel, I would blame the horrible dog owners who don't clean up after their pets. Hotels don't (and shouldn't) have to clean up after your dog. It's fantastic that dog owners can stay at a great hotel like this for a great price, don't screw it up for us by being a jerk. Also, breakfast is great.
Modern and quiet
Navajoland Hotel of Tuba CityThe property has been updated and all the furnishings are satisfactory. Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant is both tasty and ample. The property is located on the Navajo reservation, and there is no liquor sold in town so if you are interested in a nightcap you'll want to bring your own bottle. There is a fenced doggy area out back.
Great for dogs
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Lubbock Medical CenterGood price, and the area is surrounded by medical office parks that all have grassy land and medians. Our 2nd floor rooms were updated and fresh, did move from a smelly 1st floor room. Would stay here again.
Grimy and sad
La Quinta by Wyndham San Antonio AirportThe staff is nice but overwhelmed by the deplorable state of the hotel. There is an ongoing remodel which is many years past due. Other reviews suggest some rooms are nice. Not ours. Every wall, door, and floor is beaten, scarred and dirty. Our TV quit. Our bathroom fan shrieked. The bathroom was simply disgusting. I purchased two ice cream bars from the lobby store, both were melted. I stood in line at the front desk to return them behind several customers complaining of plugged drains and leaking pipes. My wife said the place gave her the "heebie jeebies." If you get room 324 don't even bother, just leave.
