Stopped for the first time and my dogs had a great time. One is a swimmer so next time I’ll let her into the pond area. The pond water is a little murky and there are some muddy areas but there’s a small stream outside so of the fenced pond with clear running water where I can rinse her off. I’ll wear my boots next time and take in a large plastic container to pick up the stream water to wash off the mud.

This is the same as the Nampa Dog park. It is a really great dog park and there is very friendly dogs and humans there!
- KarliJul 8, 2022Great dog park!
Great dog park, plenty of space for running and a nice trail that loops around. Soft grass and a lot of trees for shade. Fenced in pond for swimming and fenced in small dog area.

Don't tell your dog about this park unless you plan on going. Never seen such a large well-designed dog park. Mostly grass covered with several separate sections each of which is quite large.

We were traveling from Montana to Oregon and stopped to spend the night in Nampa. Found this dog park on the Bring Fido App and I have nothing negative to say about this park! 2 large, fenced, grassy areas with walking paths one fenced area for small dogs and one for large dogs. There is also another fenced in pond area for swimming. I have 2 Labrador Retrievers and they LOVED the swimming pond. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were piles of dog poop everywhere...this is disappointing and frustrating since the park provides various poop bag stations with garbage cans next to the poop bags. It’s really not that hard to pick up after your dogs people!

We stopped at this dog park during our road trip & am so glad we did. It is one of the nicest dog parks we've been to. There are separate small & large dog areas. The grass is green & maintained, there are nice paths. There is also a fun pond with a ramp for the dogs to launch off of. There are benches throughout to sit on. It is worth the exit off I84!

This place has everything! I especially loved the pond and all the fun dogs I met there... I learned to swim! Thanks for creating such a great spot!

11/2016 Very large park with elevation change to a hill in the back section. Mostly grass with a great gravel walking path all the way around. The large dog section also has a separate fenced area in the center with a pond - so you can choose to use it or not if you don't want your dog to get muddy. Gets crowded on nice days. Have never seen it completely empty. Well taken care of - seems most people pick up after their dogs with a few lazy offenders. Grass

First time we've been there since we moved here but we both love it. Can't wait for the weather to get warmer so we can try out the pond. I really like the path way and benches. Thanks for making a great park for our dogs.

My wife and I have been bringing our border collie to the nampa dog park for years but recently, within the last year young kids with bigger dogs have come in and taken over. It's starting to become dangerous not only for the other dogs but for owners as well. I am 55 years old and have been leveled by a wild dog for the last time. I understand "dogs will be dog's" but enough is enough. Today there were 3 fights, all BIG dogs, one even had a muzel. If your dog has to have a muzel it shouldn't be at a PUBLIC DOG PARK. owners are becoming irresponsible and unable to control their dogs. Most of the time owners laugh these problems off. THIS PARK HAS BECOME DANGEROUS NOT ONLY FOR OTHER DOGS BUT OWNERS OF OTHER DOGS. unfortunately every time there is an incident the owners is a young ignorant owner who thinks this public park is their private backyard. And these young irresponsible punks also don't pick up after their dog. More times then not I have seen these kids walk right by their dogs waste and don't pick it up. USE THIS PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK AND BRING A STICK FOR DEFENCE!

I love bringing my dog to this dog park. It has tons of open areas as well as a separate fenced in area for small breeds which was perfect for my dog who was shy around larger dogs at first. There is a little creek for the dogs to romp around in, as well as another one in a larger enclosure. Great park! My only complaint is that I have to drive all the way from Meridian to get there! Wish it was closer to me but it is worth the drive. My dog leaves happy and I leave knowing that she wont be overly rambunctious at home later.
- LeviMore than a year agoGreat for big and small
People come from all over the treasure valley to the Nampa Dog Park. It has a separate fenced off area for little dogs and a fenced off area with a water ditch for water dogs or retrievers. The big dog area is awesome and has a small water area as well for the dogs to play in. There are covered areas with benches all over, water fountains (that barely work) and usually most dogs are watched or fairly well behaved with some exceptions. This park is great
