    Maple Grove Park

    Please obey the following rules while enjoying Winnipeg’s off-leash dog areas: Dog owners must be present and within view of their dogs at all times. Aggressive dogs are not allowed in off-leash areas. Dogs must be under voice control while off-leash. Dog owners must have a leash in hand at all times. Female dogs in heat are not allowed in off-leash areas. Holes dug by dogs must be filled by the dog owner. All feces must be picked up by the dog owner and removed or deposited in waste receptacles. All dogs must be licensed in accordance with the City of Winnipeg Responsible Pet Ownership By-law 92/2013. Please call 311 for more information.       It's a fave

      It's a smaller park so there's usually lots of dogs which is great for a playful pup. Lots of options to do a loop so you can take you time and wander or just do a quick once around.

      people, pick up your poo

      This would be a great offleash park, lots of trails, a mix of meadow and forest, very few people with aggressive dogs. BUT a lot of the people who frequent this park do not bother to pick up after their dogs. The result is you never know when you are going to step in it-- or your pup will prance in it. and in spring, after a winter's worth of dog doo buildup, the place literally reeks. Not to mention being hazardous to dogs' health. Cannot count the number of times my guys have come down with diarrhea after being here in very wet conditions. I now go to King's park and will only visit this one when there has been a prolonged dry spell.

      GREAT!

      I take my dogs here all the time. It's super fun and safe. My dogs have a wonderful time here. The park is extremely well maintained. The puppy run is perfect!
