Control your dogs
Liz in North St Paul
I visited this beach while on a walk with our dog. The dogs in the water were having a great time. Problem with owners controlling their dogs. Most were off leads, and pretty wound up. A medium size terrier ran full force into my knee; I will be visiting the Dr today - fun for your dog, but watch out for stupid owners who don't control their pets. :)
Nice dog beach

Nice, small sandy dog beach. It looks like a muddy swamp from the street. It is actually very nice once you get to the waters edge with nice sandy bottom and clear water. You can walk down the wooden steps from Lake Ave or park to the South. The beach to the North is marked NO DOGS so don't get confused. https://www.google.com/maps/place/4810+Lake+Ave,+White+Bear+Lake,[email protected],-93.0000153,145m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x52b2d0ee1c396b77:0xeb2427ba86115438!8m2!3d45.0862519!4d-93.0003258

Nobody uses the public area because you can just go to Optimist Beach so I have no idea why they would take away from the already TINY area the dogs have by the shallow water. The city then put these ridiculous signs up saying no dogs beyond this point I mean COME ON their is literally about 4 feet now for the dog area in shallow water, the other side is the boat docking area. Oh and beware of the neighbors on the other side of the public area, they'll yell at you if your dog is anywhere NEAR there yard.
