Not very nice AND paid only

Same as others have said- this is a locked dog park and you need a code to get in. That said, it’s nothing special. No trees at all, a couple of random items for dogs to play in and around, just a dismal, small fenced yard basically. We travel a lot and have been to dog parks that are beautiful, enjoyable for dogs and people, some even with ponds, but Branson holds the distinction of the first one I’ve seen that requires a fee. Be proud Branson! 😂😂

    Not actually for visiting dogs

I saw online that the Branson Rec Plex had this dog park and I'd need his vaccination records and wpuld have to pay a small fee. No big deal I have those and totally understand that these places require upkeep. I got to the branson rec plex and called because I couldn't figure out where the dog park was. I told them I was a visitor and asked where I pay and where the dog park was. they told me it's in stockhill par (or something like that). I was a little annoyed since it seemed like it was at the rec plex but ok. Drove to the other park (15 min, not a huge deal) and then there was a gate with a phone number (no area code mind you) to call. So I called and said I just called and did what they said and the lady said "oh you have to pay at the rec plex" Now I got irritated. This was the same person I talked to while I was there 15 minutes prior. I told her I just drove to a different place because she told me to and asked if I could give her my card number over the phone and she said no. Totally inconvenient. This also means you can only go during rec plex hours not the sunrise to sunset time frame advertised. The park is also small but it's at least a place for a small or medium dog to run.

    Well worth $30

We are in the area for 3 months so the $30 per yr option made sense for us. The charge to get is great for keeping the crowds down, so I don't mind. I have been to some truly awful free dog parks! I travel for my job and boy do I have some horror stories..... The regular patrons often get to know each other and the dogs know each other. Love it here.

Not a place to get exercise for a visitor dog. The park has a code to enter and a phone number that does not answer.

    Disappointed

We are new to Branson. We were wanting to find a place for our dog to be able to socialize and make friends. Was disappointed to read the reviews that the dog park not only charges but requires an application and health record. Our children live in NYC & Nashville and they have wonderful free dog parks. This seems a bit much for a tourist rich city.

    No Visitors

Visiting Branson for the weekend and wanted to get our whippet some excersize. We were willing to pay the $5 fee, but when entwent to get it they wanted a full printed history of our dogs medical history. It didn't matter that his tags were current. Then on top of that they make you fill out an application. Obviously we didn't have his full medical history on paper so we left. Crappy place it seems.

    Just Sad

You rarely see any other dogs at the dog park, and it's very small. I've never been to a dog park that charges, or charges for such a little space. If it were free, a little bigger, or had more activities then maybe more people would take their pets.
