  Best beach in the world for dogs!

  Starting south of the lighthouse, you can walk on the beach for 5 gorgeous miles with your dog off leash! It’s truly dog paradise.

  Perfect Dog Beach

  A perfect place for a dog to run far in any direction! Clean, sandy beach not a far walk from the parking area. We rearranged our travel route so we could take Murphy for a second visit!

  Perfect place for families with dogs! I

  Sandy beaches and the cold but fun water of Lake Michigan make this a perfect stop for families with dogs. We spent a few days playing in the waves and digging in the sand! $8/day or $28/year, it’s a WI State Park so you’ll need a pass to the enter.

  Sandy Beach

  This is my favorite dog beach on Lake Michigan and in Wisconsin. Nice sandy beach, some rocks for the rock hounds. My dog loved it. Camping is available within a short walk from the pet beach.

  Great spot to take your dog.

  This is in a state park. It cost me $5 for an hour at the beach, but they actually gave me about two and a half hours on my parking pass. That was the out of state cost. Both people and dogs were super friendly. Beach and water were clean, and my munsterlander had a blast swimming and playing with the other pups.

  Great spot. Not crowded.

  Fun place. Both my dog and I enjoyed it a lot. I was here on a Friday and it was not crowded at all. Worth the 2 hour drive.

  Fantastic Beach for dogs and people, too.

  After a stroll trail walk, we were very pleased with the beach. Very clean. Water was very clean. We ran with our dog on the beach, played in the waves and had a blast.

  best dog beach

  I visit this park with my dogs whenever I am visiting friends in the Denmark area. My dogs love it. It is a short walk to the beach, sometimes hard to contain my excited dogs on the leash for that walk. Once there they are in the water, running down the beach and chasing the birds. I often join them in the water. The park has doggie bags available and amble parking. The scenery is also very pretty, sand dunes and light house. My dogs give it two paws up.
