Crest Trail #103

Explore nature with Fido on the dog-friendly Crest Trail #103 in Hereford, AZ. This trail is located within the Coronado National Memorial. The 4-mile trek is considered difficult, but is the only hike within the park that allows dogs. It begins at the northeastern section of Montezuma Pass and ends at Miller Peak. Mountain Crest Trail - Sierra Vista
This trail is NOT in Tucson, it is just south of Sierra VIsta. The views of the desert floor are breathtaking, and it's always a joy to start in the heat and hike up to the cool. The trail is well established, with difficulties stemming from only the vertical. Bring the camera, kids and dog. There are trees, tall grasses, wild flowers, occasional springs (trust the dog to find them). Bring plenty of water, wear your sunscreen and enjoy your 1/2 on the trails.
