Not Very Relaxing, But Ok if Small Dog

Shady, decent sized area, with a good mix of dirt/sand/grass since my pup loves to dig around. The location of the dog park itself by the highway can get very annoying. There can be the smell of car exhaust and very loud traffic passing by. If visiting, maybe time it when traffic is low.

In regards to other dogs and owners there, the large dog area did seem to have a lot of drama and excessive rough housing. The small dog area however was very relaxed and had way less dogs. I personally think other dogs/owners DO impact a dog park's ratings. You should feel relatively safe and trusting of other dogs and owners within reason, and the vibe here is iffy lol.

    Good Park

Overall it’s nice but there isn’t a water station in the small dog part. do small dogs filter feed and not require hydration?
Please don’t bring dogs that show any signs of aggression!!!

    So So

It’s okay. Not a lot of grass and no stations to clean my dog. It has water stations and doggy bags.

    spacious & shady

While trying to kill time on a quick trip to Orlando I needed a place to bring my dogs and this park is perfect. One of the larger dog parks I have been to and it's has plenty of shade and water for the dogs.

    Ok

Attached to a regular park...pretty long park but small in width and filled with wood chips. I take my german shepard to the dog park then we walk around the whole park. Haven't seen too many other dogs around that are real playful though. Suggest parking inside the park though instead of the side parking lot.

    FILTHY!!

This dog park has absolutely no grass. It's completely covered in sand, mud & dirt. I threw the ball for my white lab once, and she ran back with all four legs covered in dirt and a mouth full of it too. Don't take your dog here EVER (unless of course you like giving them baths).

    Renovations making park safer!

THIS JUST IN! Now the entrance to the dog park is located inside the park, a much safer alternative to unloading your dog right on SR 50. Although the sand is a mess, the parks has plenty of shade, benches, and bags.

    Nice

You just can't rate a dog park based on an incident between your dog and another. That's just the nature of dogs, not the park itself. So bring your pups here and hang out with mine, he's a chocolate lab and enjoys having friends around. The park itself is as good as it gets around here!

    After a couple Trips

I have a small doxie who loves big dogs. i usually take her to the large dog area and the big dogs love to play with her. the first few times i went i had no issues but then after i've noticed that some people don't really watch their dogs. there are a few aggressive dogs there and they will bite and pin the others (not playfully) and when confronted the owner seemed proud. i think a dog park should be a good social experience for our young pup so I'm looking into another park.

    Cute local area

This was a really cute area. The 'large dog' area is about 5 times the size as the 'small dogs only' area (though small dogs can enter large area) and very shady. Dogs can get dirty by rolling in watery sand near water fountains, but there is a shower. People all seemed nice and watchful of dogs, but there were many un-scooped poops even though bags are freely available. Double-gated to keep small and large dogs apart and prevent any escapes onto 50. Overall it is a nice place for locals to tire their pets.

    nice dog park!

Nice park with lots of trees for shade. Doggie water station near entrance and lots of room to run. Mostly sand, especially near entrance. Only one entrance/exit at narrowest part of play area, shared main entrance for both large and small dog play areas. Large dog area also has 2 time out runs which is a nice feature.
