    Great place for short hikes

Beautiful dog park. Has several hiking trails, fields to play on, a nice pond and there are two fenced in areas (one for small, one for large). There is only one trash bin by the fenced in area. A lot of people do have their dogs off leash on the trails, however, all the ones we have come across have been trained well.

    Great walk!

This park offers a dog park that is safe and in good condition. There are trails that you can take your dog on. Amazing park! Some of the dogs are not on leashes though.

    Not much

I have two greyhounds, so off-leash is not an option. The fenced in dog-run portion of Dufresne Park is built on a gradual slope and under a canopy of trees, which increases the muddiness as someone else mentioned. It also means the snow/ice doesn't melt quickly. All in all, not a great place for a dog to actually RUN. There is also no easy way to park near the dog-run unless you have a 4x4 since the dirt road is heavily rutted and muddy. It's a shame that there's so much open space near the baseball fields alongside 202 and that they didn't consider creating a large- and small-dog fenced park there.

    Awesome Park

When we went to the park area it was a wonderful experience with both the dogs. They just loved the trail much better than the fenced in area that is small. The only reason why I gave it a four bones is that the horse poop on the trail and some owners didnt pick up after their dogs when pooping.
But other than that it was awesome going and checking it out for my self. The water hole both dogs loved with playing around it.

    review od dog park

It is considerate of Granby to have a dog park, however, was it necessary to have it located so close to the woods? It is extremely muddy and I can just imagine the mosquito's in the summer.
I notice most dog owners have dogs off leash in the park entrance by Kendall Street parking lot which is not fenced in.

    Dog Park

The Dufresne Dog Park has recently received a face-lift (01-01-2012). Phase 1 has been completed with new fencing. Phase 2 will be an additional 130’ x 64’ fenced in area to make a nice shaded dog park. Total fenced in area will be 190’ x 164’ when completed. There are miles of wooded trails to use and most people go off leash with their dogs. All around a very nice park for recreation for both humans and their dogs. You can find it on Facebook at Friends of Dufresne Dog Park.
