    My dog loves it

I’ve been taking my pup since November of 2022, he has a regular group that he plays with and for the most part they all get along. I appreciate the fact that there is a fee. it makes it so the dogs are probably vetted for all of their shots and allows banning of dogs that are not behaved. the gravel actually allows for drainage of rain faster and acts as a natural nail file for dogs. I have not had to cut down his nails since we started attending. My only complaint is the parking lot and road in is dirt and can be very slippery in the winter.

I'm visiting with two dogs and don't what to have to pay $50

There should also be a "daily use" fee! I agree with the post that asked if the town also charges for people to bring their children to the playground!

    Not my favorite

I don't mind the fee, because it gives me access to 4 dog parks for a whole year. Luckily, this isn't the only park available. The ground here is stone, with a lot of stone dust. After the first time I brought my goldendoodle here, it took forever to brush him. The stone dust made a mess of his fur! The other park I've taken him to had large stones, and grass. No stone dust to make a mess. There are no trees, so the only shade is the small shelter in between the big dog and small dog area. This is not a pretty or pleasant park. If you just want a large area for your dog to run, and you don't care about the stone dust, it'll work. If you would like a pretty park setting for you and your dog to enjoy together, check out the other dog parks in the area. You can find better.

    What a NY con

I know why I left the great state of NY. Do you folks pay a fee to to take your children to a park. This is a town park paid with your tax dollars. We're coming into town for a graduation but I guess our dog isn't welcome at a NY dog park. We've been all over the country and never heard of such B/S. I've been able to access a dog park where ever I go.free just pick up after your dog. Crazy

    Gates resider

Very first time my husband took our puppy he was met by the most miserable sob with a border collie... This person should not be coming to a friendly dog park with such a terrible attitude... My husband greeted him twice and the man never responded but shook his head with disapproval as my husband had not yet shut the gate, man was very distraught and very rude! No one else was there at the time and I feel bad that jerks like that have to come and ruin it for others... He better not say anything to me or I will be lodging a complaint and against him... Too bad because my husband is the nicest most easy going person and he would have befriended him if given the chance... Next time stay home miserable coot!!!

Large, clean, and in a nice area

The floor is gravel which helps drain during the spring, there are usually a handful of dogs there if you go during the evenings or on weekends, and there are usually pretty well socialized dogs. Yes there are minor fees to pay for the upkeep. Not a big deal people...

    What about out of towners?

I was wondering if there is any set up for single use ppl like us who travel with their dogs. I dont mind paying but an annual fee is way to high for a single use.

    really

I actually haven't been to this dog park so can't rate it but was surprised to see how many people complained about having a fee to pay anually. I am thinking of moving to the area and was looking for actual reviews of the park but only see complaints about fees. Nowhere I have ever lived has had a free dog park. I think 24 dollars is a small price to pay for a dog to have some play time..... its per year people. Break it down per time you visit.... practically nothing. Jeeez! I am not a rich or even middle income person...... I just love my dog. If you go once per week its less than fifty cents a visit.

    Too much

$24 per dog is too much. I have 2 dogs that would love to run around with other dogs but I can't afford $48 annually. It seems like taxes are high enough to pay for a dog park.

I pay a RIDICULOUS amount in taxes already -- this is not fair!

    fees

This fee is for the year, and it seems to me that it is pretty reasonable considering that they provide poop bags and keep the place clean and well cared for.

    Fees are annual

Just to let you know the fees for the registration is an annual fee. They do not charge you each time you bring your dog to the park. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

    Garbage

When I lived in San Francisco there were multiple parks I could bring my dogs completely free of charge. No way I'm paying 75 dollars to bring my 3 dogs to run around for an hour. Unbelievable

    $$$$$$$$$

Who really charges for dogs to run in a fenced area?! That is ridiculous and typical of a town like Greece. No way m giving them a dime to use a section of the lawn... Yea right!

    Charge?

Moving back to Western NY from the NYC, I was googling dog parks to bring my rescue hound to so that she could run around with out me worrying that she will catch a scent and run off while I am still in the middle of training her.....I realize that dog parks are a necessity down there and that's why they are free, however I wasn't prepared for the $24 charge to get into this dog park. That is really unbelievable.
