    Loved the dog park!

We went here several times during our month long stay. Our girls enjoyed it and interacting with other dogs and we met some very friendly folks also.

Large Park - 5 Ft Fencing

We visited this park recently with our two six month old puppies who need to burn off energy every day. This is a very large fenced area. It appears Hurricane Sally created some tree damage to some areas of the chain link fence which are yet to be repaired completely but it seems completely secure. I liked the 5 foot fence, small and large dog areas, and plentiful parking. The parking area was a bit trashy. This could be a fantastic park with a few improvements. From what we saw in two visits is that people were not great overall at cleaning up after their dogs. I think more signage is needed to remind people clean up after you dog. There is a nice watering unit for the pups. They have plastic chairs for people to sit in. Some improvements could be an area with sturdy agility equipment (See my review concerning the Orange Beach dog park). I think the dogs would love something like jumps, a small ramp to go up and down and maybe a tire to jump through. some built in wooden or natal benches would be a plus too. There were about 10 dogs on our last visits at about 3:45-4pm on a weekday. It was great as part of the plus for our pups is socialization and with that many dogs there is sure to be at least one or two they will play with.

    Nice park except ....

The warning for the alligators and snakes are on every fence, by the water, and then there are people who warn you. Nice park open to the lake but the warnings are just too much for dogs that love water.

    Love it

We go almost every day. A simple small park with lots of nice folks. Large and small area, water, chairs and shade. Fenced in. Sounds like Pam missed us!

    Lonely Dachshunds

I wish I knew when the regular crowd met. The few times I have came it's been only me and my two dachshunds. I looking to socialize my pup and it's always empty.

    We like it!

My dogs enjoy going here, as I do. As of the end of 2013 there have been some good improvements-- new sod with sandy areas, separate large and small dog areas, water, shade, tennis balls, lots of chairs and a good regular crowd.

    bogus

This is not a dog park or even close. Empty lot between condos.
