    Beautiful and mostly clean!

The dog park actually blew me away! Where I am from, a dog park is just a fenced in area with some dirt in it. Here there is grass and pathways, and plenty of agility equipment! Plus some benches and picnic tables. Of course not every owner pays enough attention to pick up after their dog, so there is that, but it’s not too dirty, and really wonderful set up.

    Really Nice!

The was a friend there all three days we visited, the location was clean, there was enough space for our puppy to run and chase toys. Great park for humans too with bench swings in the shade.

    Beautiful Park But No Dogs!!

I went there at 5:30 on a weekday and stayed for an hour. There were no other dogs the entire time! I would like to find places around here where I could socialize my pup!!

    Pretty little spot

My dog would have had more fun if someone else would have shown up with their over 35-lb. pooch for him to play with but he still enjoyed visiting this park with its lush green grass areas. The entrance to the over-35-lb. dog area, which IS small, is on 11th street, towards the west end of the park. The park does have picnic tables, and you might want to bring toys for your pooch to entertain him or her, since there's not a lot of room for walking or other stuff to discover if there aren't other dogs visiting.

WHAT IS THIS, A DOG PARK FOR ANTS?

I frequent this park on a bi-weekly basis, most recently 2/28/18. I have a big dog, so I'm reviewing the big dog side of the park (there is a little dog park next door).

    1. The park is tiny, easily the tiniest dog park I've ever been to. The rest stops on the side of the Florida Turnpike have bigger dog parks than this.

    2. It's usually very clean, so good job there.

    3. One of the 2 gates is always broken.

    4. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHILDREN WITH BIKES AND SCOOTERS?? Seriously though, where are the park officials? If I'm alone, I'll personally ask the kids to leave, or at the very least, leave their bikes outside the gates. I've seen other dog owners ask the same.

    5. It's hit or miss walking your dog around the park. Sometimes I can do 2 laps and not be told anything. Sometimes I only get halfway around the park before an official tells me I cant walk my dog outside the dog park.

    6. People LOVE to bring food into this park. I've seen people bring entire meals into the park to eat while their dog plays.

    7. More recently, in the last few months, I've noticed several homeless people sleeping inside the dog park on the tables or benches. I personally dont mind, but it sure is funny to see them get upset when my dog attempts to lick their face. If you dont want to be licked, sniffed, and drooled on, dont sleep in the dog park.

    8. The agility equipment was NOT made with dogs in mind. It's made of slippery plastic, so even if your dog wanted to use the equipment, there's no way it could as it would SLIP right off.

    Very Nice Park

Brought Penny here on vacation. Well kept, clean, lots of shade and agility equipment. Took pictures to take home and lobby to improve our own park.

    Good little park

Very well-maintained. Lots of shade for fido and human. The agility course is in better condition than the one at Roscoe Warren. Grass is better than RW, too. My only criticism is that it could be bigger.

    Small, but clean

I visit this park at least once a week. The park is usually very clean, maybe a poop here and there, but clean. The other dogs I've met at this park are usually friendly, once or twice I've had to say something, but usually its a calm environment. The two main problems I've come across are the broken gates and children. The gates are awful, half the time they're broken so they don't stay shut which for myself it isn't a problem since my dogs wont run off, but its obviously not ideal. The amount of children that make their way into the park is a problem as they will sprint across the park or bring food or even worse, bring their bikes or scooters. If you dont mind asking children to leave, it can be a nice play to bring fido.

    Small but Clean

This is a small but nice dog park. Clean. Fenced in with appropriate signage, with separate areas for small and large dogs, shaded areas with seating, some agility items and doggie water fountains. People using the park all seemed to be nice and cleaned up after their pets. The locks on the gates are a little tricky.

    Horrible!!!

I will never take my dog here again. People here don't pick up their dogs poop and leave trash everywhere. I even got screamed at for bringing my dog there because this woman didn't realize it was a dog park. There's no proper signage outside either.

    Beautiful

This is a lovely, clean, well-kept park with good shelter. It got only 4 out of 5 bones because it is rather small. If it were bigger it would have gotten 10 bones.
