  Rather small park

  Dogs are allowed and there are some beautiful trees

  We chanced upon this park on our way to a dog-friendly coffee shop nearby. We parked nearby in city metered parking along the street. As it was Saturday morning, the Farmer's Market was there. We did not walk through the vendors, but we walked around the rest of the park with our dog on leash. Everyone seemed friendly and there were other dogs there on leash.

  I'd walk this park again with our dog.

  Note: As always and at all locations, we use responsible dog ownership habits which includes cleaning up after our pet. I think some of the other reviews in regards to this park are from non-dog people who have beef with some irresponsible dog owners. I hope that doesn't discourage you and your pet from checking this park out, even on a Saturdays when the Farmer's Market is open!

  Marion Square

  First, I'd like to say the map location is wrong. Marion Square is located at Calhoun and King. Dogs are not allowed off lease and it's important to pick up after them. Saturday's Farmers market is a fun time to bring your dog too. However, it gets really crowded and a little dangerous for smaller dogs.
