Best dog park I’ve ever seen!

Trees halfway around the wooden fence give plenty of shade. (Don’t worry, there’s chain link in the fence…) Water station with bowls, poop bags dispensers. Clean, grass on 99% of the area. Gorgeous neighbourhood if you want to take your pup for a walk.

    As good as it gets!

Such a special dog park! The town went out of its way to keep it open to all and I'm so so grateful they did. It's beautifully maintained, full of lovely people and dogs alike. It's big, open, full of both shade and sun - just special special special. My dog comes home happy, tired and always ready for a long nap. :-)

    Neo Loves Rowayton Dark Park!

I took our gog, Neo, to this park for the first time today and he loved it! The nice, large, square space is perfect! One can see his/her dog from any spot at all times. The people were friendly and cleaned up after their dogs immediately. Although the very large dogs were a bit intimidating to me (Neo is only 18 pounds), , they were not to Neo! Owners were careful to watch the "play" of their dogs, which is important. I recommend this park to anyone looking for a manageable-sized, entirely fenced-in, clean, green space for dogs. Great to have an alternative to New Canaan!

Great little gem for dogs in Rowayton

This dog park is great! Lots of fenced in grass for your dog to run around. The people you interact with are generally friendly. There's a great auto-filling water bowl for the dogs too which is great for hygiene of the animals (don't have to worry about animals peeing in the water dishes). The dog park is HUGE. Not sure why someone would say its small. As someone who came up from Brooklyn to Connecticut, its the largest open area I've ever been able to let my dog run around in. The park is also self sufficient, in that its supported by funding from people who use the park.

    closed for the spring

is great when it is open. It was closed from April to June (the best time of year to go to the dog park).

    Low key, clean, friendly

We took our senior doxie here and had a lovely time. The field is big and square, well maintained, and low-key. Owners keep it clean. Big dogs and little dogs are off leash and the park is big enough for solitary dogs to have their own space without stress.
