  Great Park!

  Shelby dog park did not disappoint! It’s a fairly big park with benches for the owners to sit on and it has a big open area for the pups to run around! They even have a water fountain that’s turned on during the warm seasons for your furry friend!

  Nice Seating Area

  We enjoyed sitting on the benches in the center of the park and watching the pups play around us. There's a few shady trees and grassy (dusty) patches for playing fetch. Take a leashed walk around the park that surrounds the dog park afterwards and you might run into one of the resident deer.

  Social Spot

  This is a good park for a social visit. There are a lot of areas for fur-parents to sit and chat with someone you know or a time to make a new friend. There is a water fountains, but can get territorial - I will bring our own water bottle next time. Nice parking lot with the park entrance in sight but a slight walk. There is a playground for children close by.

  Very difficult to find. They need more signs. Can be dusty/muddy.

  Great Park

  Nice size and we’ve never had a problem with aggressive dogs. It can get a bit dusty or muddy but I just give my dog a quick bath afterwards.

  Couldn't find it

  Coming from out of town, we were looking for a park to bring our goldendoodle. We drove around the park looking for it, but we couldn't even find it. No signs at all to tell us where to go. However, Zoey, our dog, got in a nice walk on the Shelby Bottoms trail, which we recommend.

  Great park to find on our drive out west. It is not too far off of I-40 though for a moment you drive through an ugly part of town. Park itself I safe neighborhood and friendly. Clean, large and easy to find!

  I love this park

  This park is great! It's one big area so all dogs are together but 99% of the dogs all get along! Every one is super friendly and easy to talk to. My dog loves it! And knows exactly where we are going when I say dog park. There's a couple of benches to sit and a water fountain for the dogs. It's great!
