    Great dog park!

Large park in a quiet neighborhood with digging, walking and open fields. Our shy dog found friends immediately. She loved it!

    Best dog park around!

Huge space for dogs to roam and play! Loved the closed off pond, the sand areas, and the water stops for your pup at every turn. Recommend stopping by here if you're in the area. Definitely worth the $5 fee for a few hours of fun for your pup!

    Best dog park ever!

We found this park through the Bring Fido app. Our year old doodle/poodle loved it! So many friendly dogs and people. We went back the next AM before hitting the road again. Paid the 5$ fee- well worth it!

You’ll find something your dog will like

If your dog likes to run? Plenty of space. If your dog likes to swim? A gated pond with dock. If your dog likes to dig? Areas of sand. If your dog likes quiet time? A separate training area where they can be by themselves. Wonderful clean dog park well worth the $5 entry fee.

    Fantastic Park With Great Dogs!

What a life saver! Our dog was stressed and tired from our cross country move, not to mention missing his daily park time with friends. He got to run around off leash in a huge fenced area and socialize with about a dozen well-behaved dogs of all sizes. Made his day and ours too.

    GREAT park!

This park is such a treat, like a carnival for doggos! The stand-out unique thing here is a fenced dog swimming pond with jumping doc. It's so hard to find sanctioned dog swimming areas in Iowa (we live in Ames). In addition there are big dog, small dog and a dog training/agility area with nice shelters. Lots of dogs also make this a fun stop. The easy on-site day pass honor system works great for folks like us that don't live local.

    BEST dog park

This is hands down our favorite dog park. We drive an hour just to take our boy here! It is huge, has some shade, has a sand area and best of all has a pond for dogs to swim! Our pup loves it here and loves jumping off the small dock into the water. They also have a rinsing/washing station for dogs right outside of the gate.

    great park

Every time we go to Iowa City we always stop at this park. Our lab loves to swim so we love that it has the enclosed pond. However some of the staff are rude.

    Awesome, Clean, Big Dog Park

We used our GPS to get to the location listed and didn't see the park, but there was a "Dog Park" sign on the road with an arrow. Several times we thought we had made a wrong turn, only to see another sign. We drove through what looks like a new planned community and at the far end of it saw the HUGE dog park, with a perfect lawn, three areas (small dog, general play area and training area) each separately fenced in. They ask for a $5 per day fee if you're just using it for the day, which you should pay (honor system envelope). They provide pet waste bags, composting of pet waste and a big tank of drinking water and drinking buckets. Portapotties available for humans. Highly recommended.
