  Beautiful park

  This is a beautiful city park. Huge trees and farmers market. It’s a wonderful place to walk your dog. As other have mentioned this is not a dog park. But many people enjoying this beautiful park with their dogs.

  Not an Off-Leash Park

  TGP is a fabulous dog-friendly park. It is NOT a leash-free park, though. It is strictly within the rules of the park that all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Park rangers are on duty during park hours and will enforce this rule.

  Oasis in the city

  TGP is larger than most of the parks nearby, making it great for getting some steps in with your pooch. Plenty of parking inside and around the park. There are some drinking fountains, but I do suggest bringing your own bowl. Big open spaces to play catch and run in the grass. Bring a blanket and some snacks, or stop by one of the many delicious eateries nearby (many of which have pup friendly outdoor seating). Bringing your camera to get the perfect shot of your babies in front of a pretty garden, many lovely pavilions, or just having fun. This is a great place to spend your day, and it's free!
