Wyandotte County Lake Park Trails

Wyandotte County Lake Park trails extend across a 1,500-acre dog-friendly area in Kansas City, KS. Starting right before Shelter 9 in a large wooded area on the east side of the lake, you will find the trailhead for the WyCo Single Track Trail. From the trailhead there are several options for trails, all interconnect with each other at points along the way and eventually loop back to the beginning. The trails are well marked and you'll find multiple maps along the way so you don't get lost. Wyandotte County Lake Park is also a popular spot for fishing, picnicking and biking. Visit Website

Peaceful walks through the woods
We’ve gone several times, nice and relaxing environment free of distractions for the excitable puppy. The trails are fairly popular for mountain biking though (especially white tail loop) so use caution.

NOT!!!!!!
Humans and dogs are NOT ALLOWED in the water!!!!! The off leash dog area is a small piece if land not fenced.
