NWP Railroad Trail

The NWP Railroad Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Corte Madera! The map below shows a trailhead where you can pick up the NWP Railroad Trail. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. For more detailed trail information, please visit TrailLink.com. Larkspur Path

Some things that I like about the path is that it is accessible from many different entrances, and it is connected to Downtown Larkspur, the neighborhood, and Corte Madera. I do think that this is a good place to bring dogs who are friendly, like to run around and are non-aggressive. I let my small Dachshund/JRT cross run around on this trail and she loves it! Although, there are usually a lot of walkers on the trail and I would say that even though the trail is fairly long, it might not be a very good place to play fetch.
