Public Dog Park for Members Only

The city of Ames charges people for a public dog park. Visiting from out of town and this is the first time I have ever seen a public dog park only allow members. Won’t becoming back to Ames anytime soon.

    Outstanding Park

Very nice, large, fenced in park, great community - you see a lot of regulars there. Very clean and well-kept. Would be nice if it had a lake or stream (got spoiled in Rapid City, SD), but as it's built on a hill, that's unlikely.

    Very nice park

Ames dog park is very clean and well kept. We've visited on several occasions and both our dogs enjoyed the park. I would have given 5 bones on the review if the park was a bit larger.
