Parley's Nature Reserve Overview

Parley's Nature Reserve is a great place to go with your dog! A river runs the entire length of the reserve and is available for dogs to get in at various locations. At the end of the dirt road, there is a large swimming hole. Dogs and kids enjoy cooling off here during the hot summer months. Dogs are allowed off-leash in designated areas only.

We moved to SLC within the last year and just discovered this park. It is a great find, and I recommend it to everyone with a dog who loves to run free and socialize. It is a great setting with lots f water and open space, and there are just tons of friendly dogs for your best friend to play with!

I love this park!! My pup has such a blast running around with the other dogs and chasing after balls and sticks that we throw into the water. There are many mountain bikers that frequent this park as well and its important to clean up after your dog so we can continue to enjoy this park as an off-leash area. It is one of the few in Salt Lake and it needs to stay that way! Definitely a must try park; Especially if your dog loves the water...They will love this park!
