Frisco Highline Trail

The Frisco Highline Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Springfield! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Frisco Highline Trail. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. For more detailed trail information, please visit TrailLink.com. Great Walking Path

There’s a nice grassy area by parking lot. The trail was fairly clean and was perfect for some quick exercise. The only downside is there is no garbage can near the parking lot.

Perfect for walking or Urban Mushing

We took our huskies here to walk them and saw many parts of the trail are very wide, so now we take them for urban mushing because there is plenty of room. Be sure to bring water with you because not everything is shaded!
