Great hike for human and beast!!!

This trail is a really nice NATURE trail. Go in the fall or spring so you can wear long pants. Put on your insect repellent, make sure your dog has taken his flea/tick pills, and enjoy.
I don't understand the previous reviews. In nature, there are bugs (i.e. TICKS, mosquitos.). There is poison ivy, poison oak, etc. This is not a paved, city-type trail. This is nature.

    Waste of Time

The trail is not a walkable one for humans never mind dogs. It starts with warning signs for both ticks and poison ivy. The beginning of the trail is so overgrown, we did not even try to bring our dog on it. Three hour car ride in traffic, for nothing.
