Art Omi is a pet-friendly, not-for-profit arts center with a 120-acre facility in Ghent, NY. Fido is welcome to tag along to explore the grounds and sculptures but must register for their dog pass program in the visitor center. Your furry friend can be off-leash in the architecture fields from October 1 until April 30 before 8:30 AM on weekdays.

Scentral Dog Park in the town of Halfmoon is where local canines go to hang out. The park is divided into a small and large section and stacked with equipment to play on. Dogs and humans can rehydrate at the water fountain provided. Visitors must have a permit that can be applied for by both town residents and non-residents. Simply fill out the Dog Park Permit Application on the website, provide the required documentation and submit it to the Town Clerks Office in the Town Hall. Dog owners are reminded to clean up after pups and to keep an eye on them while they play in the park.
