This dog-friendly microbrewery welcomes visitors to bring their leashed pups with them to enjoy the outdoor patio. Pet Friendly Chateau du Petit Thouars
Chateau du Petit Thouars Fido is welcome to join you as you swirl, sniff, and sip a glass of wine at the Chateau du Petit Thouars. Dogs are allowed unleashed on the estate, except in the cellar, where the wines are vinified and aged in barrel. In the cellar, dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are welcome in the tasting room where they can enjoy a drink of water. A variety of tours and tastings are offered at this Loire Valley vineyard and chateau, varying in price. Chateau du Petit Thouars recommends the Picnic in the Vines Tour and Tasting to dog owners, as it allows them to picnic outside with their pet at a dressed table in the vineyard. Interested parties can book online, in advance. Chateau du Petit Thouars is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30am to 6:30pm. See Details
Parc Bordelais Parc Bordelais is dog-friendly. This 19th-century park is home to over 3,000 trees and numerous activities for children such as a petting zoo with farm animals and a small train. Leashed dogs are also allowed to join their owners on the pathways that wind around this pretty park. Well-behaved pups can even sit and enjoy a puppet show when the weather is nice. Parc Floral d'Apremont-sur-Allier Leashed pups are welcome at Parc Floral d'Apremont-sur-Allier in Apremont-sur-Allier, France. This dog-friendly botanical garden allows you to immerse yourself in a picturesque medieval-style village. Enjoy walking the beautiful grounds, complete with a variety of gorgeous plants and flowers, with your pup. You may even get to experience a rotation of different historical and educational exhibits. Bordeaux les quais de la Garonne Although not officially a dog park, the grassy areas along the river between the Place du Marché and the Water Mirror are great places for walking your dog. Many breeds, large and small, gather off-leash on the lawns. While, officially, off-leash is not allowed there is a general tolerance as long as the dog is socialized and well- behaved. There are plenty of dog waste bag dispensers and water fountains along the way. Ferry from Cannes to Sainte-Marguerite Island Operated by Trans Côte D'Azur Ferries, Fido is welcome aboard a short 15 minute journey from Canne to Sainte-Marguerite Island in France. Pets are permitted on the ferry and Sainte-Marguerite Island, but they must remain leashed. This tranquil island has a scenic trail system which leads visitors on a self-guided botanical and historical tour. The ferry departs every couple of hours in the morning and afternoon. Tuileries Gardens At Tuileries Gardens, dogs are allowed on two elevated flanks or ‘allees’ overlooking the gardens.
