St. James's Park

With its royal, political and literary associations, St James's Park is at the very heart of London and covers 23 hectares (58 acres) with a lake harboring ducks, geese, and pelicans. St James's is also home to the Mall, the setting for many ceremonial parades and events of national celebration. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Memorial Gardens (in front of Buckingham Palace) or in the fenced-off grass area around the perimeter of the lake. Dogs must be leashed on the footpath around the perimeter of the lake and on the Horse Guards Parade Ground. During the spring and summer, you and Fido can watch the changing of the guard in the open area in front of Buckingham Palace at 11:30 A.M. each morning (weather permitting).

Meg K9 Paddock is a secure 1-acre dog park available for private hire in Lincoln, UK. The site can be reserved in 30 minute increments for a nominal fee. The paddock is lighted and is open year-round. Water is provided and waste bags are available.

Greenwich Park

Covering 74 hectares (183 acres), Greenwich is the oldest Royal Park and home to a small herd of Fallow and Red deer. Situated on top of a hill, visitors enjoy sweeping views across the River Thames to St Paul's Cathedral and beyond. The park is part of the Greenwich World Heritage Site, host to the Prime Meridian Line and the old Royal Observatory, as well as having the National Maritime Museum as a neighbour. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Flower and Rose Gardens or Wilderness Deer Park.

Inverleith Park is pet-friendly. This 54-acre park in the heart of Edinburgh is popular among dog walkers. The park once formed part of the Inverleith Estate, which had been owned by the Rocheid family since 1665. The park features grassy fields, walking trails, a children's playground, tennis courts, and a small boating pond. The Edinburgh skyline can be viewed from the park. Leashed pups are invited to join their owners on the pretty trails that wind around the park. The park is always open.

The Regent's Park & Primrose Hill

The Regent's Park & Primrose Hill

The Regent's Park covers 166 hectares (410 acres) and includes stunning rose gardens with more than 30,000 roses of 400 varieties. The Park has excellent sports facilities and with nearly 100 acres available is the largest outdoor sports area in Central London. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Avenue Gardens, English Gardens, Queen Mary's Gardens, Wildlife Gardens, St. John's Lodge Gardens, or in Boating Lake. Dogs must be leashed on the edge of the Boating Lake and in Heather Gardens.

Richmond Park

Richmond Park, at almost 1000 hectares (2500 acres), is the largest Royal Park in London and is home to around 650 free roaming deer. The pastoral landscape of hills, woodlands, ponds, gardens and grasslands set amongst ancient trees offers a peaceful respite to visitors. The Park is designated as a National Nature Reserve (NNR), a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Pembroke Lodge and Gardens, and that they must be leashed in Isabella Plantation, in close proximity to deer, and on the edge of the ponds during bird nesting season (signs will be posted).

Kensington Gardens

Covering 111 hectares (275 acres), Kensington Gardens is planted with formal avenues of magnificent trees and ornamental flower beds. It is a perfect setting for Kensington Palace, peaceful Italian Gardens, the Albert Memorial, Peter Pan statue and the Serpentine Gallery. Please note that dogs are not allowed to swim at Long Water, Round Pond, or the Peter Pan statue, and that dogs must be leashed at the edge of Round Pond and Long Water, around the Italian Fountains, and in the North and South Flower Walks.

Bushy Park

With an area of 445 hectares (1,099 acres), Bushy is the second largest of the Royal Parks. Lying to the north of Hampton Court Palace, the park has a distinctly rural character and is home to around 320 free-roaming deer. The famous Arethusa 'Diana' Fountain forms the centrepiece to the famous Chestnut Avenue. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Woodlands Gardens and that they must be leashed when in close proximity to deer or the Water Gardens.

Unleashed Wrenbury is a pet-friendly paradise. Located near Nantwich, this place takes dog park to a whole new level. The adventure park spans three acres set amongst woodland and includes a dog friendly lake and adventure area. The facilities include a balance beam, tunnel, and a number of jumps. There's even a dog wash station and a compost area for safe poop disposal. They offer size specific group socialisation sessions and are also available for your pooch's birthday party as a private hire. The weekend session times are 11:00 to 12:30 for small dogs, 1:00pm to 2:30pm for all dogs, and 3:00pm to 4:30pm for medium and large dogs. The park is open every weekend from 11:00am to 4:30pm.

Dodside Dogruns is a pet-friendly rental service. You can rent out an exclusive area to take your dog. Perfect for small parties or single users with dogs who may be nervous or aggressive around other dogs. Dodside Dogrun gives you the ability to rent out an enclosed grassy space, where you can exercise your dog without a leash. Rental time slots are available starting at thirty minute time intervals. The fee for rentals is £5.50 per half hour on weekdays and £6.50 per half hour on weekends.

The park opens every day of the week from 8am.

Heaton Park is pet-friendly. Located in Manchester, this large municipal park covers 600-acres in total. Dogs are welcome in the park, as long as they are on a leash throughout. Take a wander past the 18-hole golf course and check out the rowing boats on the lake. The pathways wind gently around the green spaces in the park and make for a great setting for an afternoon stroll. Stop for a moment on one of the benches adjacent to a large pond. The park opens at 8am every day of the week.

Baldham Dog Park is a secure field, approximately 1.5 acres in size, surrounded by 6ft high fencing. Booking a time slot includes use of the onsite agility equipment and you will have private use of the field to safely exercise or train your four-legged friend(s).

Marazion Beach

Marazion Beach is pet-friendly. The home of St Michael’s Mount, this beach town is known for providing soft sandy beaches to explore with your pooch. Marazion Beach permits dogs from September 30 through May 1. Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the days of peak season, but can enter the beach from 7pm to 8am when the beaches are less busy.
