Theodore Roosevelt National Park Theodore Roosevelt National Park is a pet-friendly attraction in Medora, ND. Preserving three areas of rugged, beautiful badlands in southwestern North Dakota, this natural area was established in honor of the landscape's influence on Theodore Roosevelt. Pets in the park must be restrained at all times and aren't permitted in park buildings, on trails, or in the backcountry.
