Description
Mark your calendars for Bark for Life!
Benefiting: American Cancer Society
Dogs of all ages, colors, shapes and sizes are invited to bring their owners and meet other dogs at the American Cancer Society’s 1st annual Bark for Life of West Morris on Saturday April 26, 2014 at Chubb Park in Chester Township. Take a stroll around the park with several dogs and their owners and enjoy the celebration of our four-legged loved ones. Together, we’ll celebrate canine caregivers (companion, guide, diagnostic, rescue, police, therapy, and service dogs among others) because they help us through our darkest hours showing us unconditional love and security without judgment. Bark for Life is a non-competitive walk-a-thon and festival for all Morris County dogs and their families. The money raised by the participants at Bark help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with more birthdays by helping people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back. The walk begins at 10:30 a.m. There will also be contests, various paw-friendly activities, and vendors will be on site. Participants are welcome to remain after the event to enjoy the beauty of Chubb Park. Register now! Registration is $20.00 per dog ($10 for each additional dog) and includes a Bark For Life bandanna. Register on-line at RelayForLife.org/BarkWestMorrisNJ. Day-of registration will take place at the Registration tent. The American Cancer Society saves lives. We’re here to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
