Paws for a Cause 2014

The Paws for a Cause Fundraising Walk and 5k raises more than $25,000 annually to support the work of the Coastal Humane Society, raising money for food, veterinary care, shelter, exams and more for the 2,500 animals we serve every year. It?s a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising for the whole family (dogs, too!). The event is hosted by L.L. Bean’s Dog Days of August festival. People and their pooches can participate in either an 8:00 a.m. 5k starting at Memorial Park in Freeport or join us at 10:00 a.m. for a leisurely one-mile strut down Main Street in Freeport (costumes highly encouraged.) You can participate by yourself, or participate as part of a team.
