Description
The Toronto Humane Society is proud to announce that this year’s Paws in the Park Fundraiser is going to be the pet event of the year. Its new date of Sunday August 24th will allow for summer sunshine and for families to come with their dogs before the kids go back to school.
The Toronto Humane Society is a charitable organization that runs solely off of donations and receives no government funding. It’s annual celebration Paws in the Park provides animal lovers an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the Society as well as learn all about the programs and services offered.
In addition to last year’s face painting, celebrity appearances, and dogs available for adoption, this year there will be several new and exciting areas to visit including a free dog primping service, a cool down area, caricature artist station and an on-site vendor village.
