K-9 Karnival

The fun family-oriented event demonstrates how folks can create a bond and relationship with their dog by providing proper training, health care, and nutrition. ‘K-9 Karnival’ will feature rally, obedience, and agility demonstrations. Police dog demos are also scheduled. Folks can see if their dog possesses impeccable manners by taking the AKC Canine Good Citizen test (CGC), thereby earning their CGC title. A low-cost micro-chipping clinic will be available as well of all kinds of contests like Best Dressed, Best trick and Best Kisser. There will be plenty of food, vendors and raffles. Meet dozens of breeds of dogs – from mini poodles to St. Bernards, in Meet the Breeds. Breeders and trainers will be on hand to answer questions from health care to dog training. Admission is free; all dogs must be on leashes; and attendees are asked to bring a donation for a local shelter and get a free raffle ticket. All monies raised will go to local shelters.
