8th Annual Dog Splash Days

This dog friendly event will be held Yearly from 12:00 PM Friday to 3PM Sunday on Sep 5, 2014 to Sep 7, 2014 at Templeton Community Pool in Templeton, CA, US.

Description
The Community Pool "goes to the dogs" every year to benefit the Vineyard Off-Leash Dog Park. Only the dogs swim in the pools, there are lifeguards in the pool with the dogs to guide and play with the pooches. Space is limited. Dogs with reservations area admitted before walk-ins, so go to the website or call for your reservations now!
There are rules:
1. Dogs must have paper proof of current rabies vaccination
2. Puppies under 4 months old are not allowed.
3. Male dogs over 7 months old must be neutered.
4. Only dogs and authorized "dog" lifeguards are allowed in the pool.
Times:
Little dogs and senior dogs: Friday Noon and 1 PM, Saturday 10 AM
All Dog Swim: Friday 1-4 PM, Saturday 11-3 PM, Sunday 10-3 PM

My Golden Retriever has the best time every year. He doesn't like water, so he swims once and then goes and lays down to watch all the other dogs having fun. Watching from outside the fence can be just as fun - bring a chair and sit in the shade and enjoy the doggy energy!
