Puppy Foundation

This class is for puppies 10 weeks to 5 months of age and their humans. Our Puppy Foundation class will teach you and your new puppy to work together from the start. Your new puppy will learn basic manners/obedience such as Sit, Look, Down, Place and Leash Walking. We will also provide problem solving advice for those puppy hood challenges such as, crate training, biting/nipping and housebreaking, as well as how to prevent future problems like aggression. A special part of our Puppy Foundation is the Socialization aspect. Time is crucial when trying to socialize a puppy, by 5 months of age, a puppy’s personality has been determined. Socialization with people as well as other dogs is necessary at this stage. We will use a positive approach and show your puppy how to confidently relate to other puppies, unfamiliar people, strange sights, sounds and objects.
