A Dog Day Afternoon Fundraiser!

The Ultimate Dog Park experience and Dog Adoption event with Street Tails Animal Rescue! The entrance to the event will be on 12th Street and Reed Street. The Ultimate Dog Park: Accompanied by owners, dogs will be allowed on the main field of Columbus Square Park; entrance fee: $10 event day, $5 in advance may be purchased at the park recreation center. On the field, participants will have access to a variety of vendors supporting this event, from community businesses to Dog/Pet services and education. After 11:30 AM, tennis balls and frisbees will be provided. SPADO’s fundraiser will include raffle prizes from local businesses and a dog wash! Street Tails Animal Rescue will hold an adoption event at the existing dog run at All proceeds will support the renovation of the Columbus Square Park Dog Park! SPADO is working with the Friends of Columbus Square Park renovation project (http://mycolumbussquarepark.org/project/). A large part of the renovation project includes renovations to the current dog run/dog park which is run by the volunteers of SPADO.
