Canine Classic

On September 27, 2015, Wanderers' Rest Humane Association will be holding their annual Canine Classic. This annual dog walk and festival is their most important public education event. The proceeds of the event help to underwrite the rising costs of sheltering, healing and caring for more than a 1,500 homeless cats and dogs each year. The Canine Classic is for dog owners, dog lovers, and anyone else who wants to help adoptable dogs and puppies by raising funds and joining our dog walk event. It’s also for those who want to learn more about dogs and what you can do to help shelter and rescue organizations. You can help us fund raise by creating your own fund raising page. Just go to our website at: www.wanderersrest.org, click on the Canine Classic “Join the Fun” link, and then click on “Register yourself or team through FirstGiving”. You can also use the form provided in this brochure. Bring the funds with you to the Canine Classic event on Sunday September 28. Those raising $25 or more will receive a free t-shirt. Their are 4 categories folks can help to support and WRHA will be giving awards to the person or team that raises the most money in that category. 1. Community team: Business or community group/organization 2. Family team: Family/friends 3. Adult individual: I person 18 years or older 4.
