PETS ARE FAMILY TOO

Please note event in in Frederick county in the city of Monrovia. On 8/15/15 at the Cheryl O’Hara Dance Elite Studio located at 11791 Fingerboard Road, Suite 101, Monrovia, MD 21770 a Rabies and Microchip Clinic will be held in conjunction with a Pet Health Fair at the YMCA next door. The Rabies Vaccines will be $10 and the Microchips $25 and this will only run from 10 to 12:30. However, the Pet Health Fair will run from 9-2. Dogs must be on a leash and Cats must be in a carrier and they must be 12 weeks or older in order to receive the rabies vaccines or microchips. Payment is CASH ONLY. The Pet Health fair will run from 9 – 2 and we will have an Acupuncture demonstration with Dr. Randy Barbour and a Laser demonstration with Dr. Laura Page, both of which will also be administering the microchip and rabies vaccines. In addition, Pet Acupressure, a Shining Stars Pet Photo Booth, a police dog demonstration, healthy pet treats, nail painting, a Silent Auction, food and more will be offered during the pet health fair. ALL proceeds will go to spay/neuter animals in Frederick County, MD. Part of the money is ear marked for a free spay/neuter clinic for Pit Bulls with the Frederick County Humane Society. This is so important, because Pit Bulls are the most killed in the shelter. In addition to working with the Frederick County Humane Society, we are also working with Uniting to Save Animals, an organization created for the express purpose of raising funds to spay and neuter animals in Frederick County.
