Woofstock on The Branford Green

"Woofstock on the Branford Green" is a free, all-day music festival, designed to assist the non-profit Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford Connecticut rescue, rehab, and rehome community pets. Our family friendly festival is open to all and will be filled with fun activities on top of the music from 12 Noon to 8PM. The outstanding musical lineup is headlined by Jen Durkin and The Business (Jen is lead singer and cofounder of Deep Banana Blackout), Heather from Turbulence and Friends, Chewy and The Grateful Friends, Not Ween (A Tribute to Ween), Matt and Casey from Hubinger Street, and Jackie & Rick featuring Verryn. The day includes the Woofstock Hippie Dog Costume Contest (free to enter – top 3 costumes win prizes), a Woof Walk that can earn a rescue up to $1,000, children's activities including hula hooping, face painting, a Moonbounce, dunk tank, over 50 vendors for shopping, 5 food trucks, and much more. Last year the Branford Police said there were between 5,000 and 6,000 attendees throughout the exciting - fun - family friendly day, and all dogs are welcome! Entrance is free but there is a suggested $10 donation and/or donations of animal shelter needed products like: rawhide bones, pet toys, footballs and soccer balls, bleach, paper towels, 40 gallon trash bags, cat/rabbit/bird food, etc. Vendor/Sponsor opportunities still available.
