This dog friendly event will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on October 18, 2015 at Lake Benson Park in Garner, NC, US.
Sponsored by Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue & Blue Buffalo.
Admission is $30 and benefits Rescues, Shelters, and Homeless Pets in Eastern North Carolina.

Description
Neuse River Golden Retriever Resue is proud to partner with Blue Buffalo to host the second annual Dog Day 5K to benefit shelters and rescues in eastern North Carolina.
Competitive runners will appreciate the paved trails of Lake Benson and White Deer Parks, and if you're looking for a bigger challenge, you can run with your dog! Recreational runners, walkers and dogs will enjoy the early morning exercise in Garner's beautiful parks.
All well behaved, socialized dogs are welcome and must be leashed at all times. "Poop" bags and waste receptacles will be provided throughout the race course.
And for those who prefer to cheer on from the sidelines we also have a Facebook Auction running before the event!
