Mark your calendars for CAROLINA PAWS PRESENTS A NEW LEASH ON LIFE WINE TASTING EVENT! CAROLINA PAWS, a growing network of concerned Carolinians devoted to helping adandoned and abused animals find loving homes, is now partnering with Brown Creek Correctional Institution through A New Leash On Life. A nationally acclaimed program begun in 1981 in Washington State, this program enables prison inmates and dogs to progress together. Rescued dogs participate in 8-9 weeks of basic and advanced training by specially qualified and trained prisoners. Upon completion of the training, the dogs graduate and are adopted into permanent homes while four new dogs enter the program. Funds raised from the Wine Tasting Event will be used to provide medical care, food, and supplies for the dogs. Please join us as we work together to support this very important cause.
