Paws and Pints

La Jolla Veterinary Hospital is hosting their third annual "Paws & Pints" Fundraiser on Thursday, May 19th 2016. The event will be held at THE LOT in La Jolla from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm. This fundraiser features both silent and live auctions and a raffle featuring items like surfboards and art pieces from local museums and artists. There are packages from local La Jolla restaurants, hotels, museums, artists, pet stores, pet-friendly merchants, and San Diego sports teams packages such as a San Diego Padres “staycation” package that includes VIP tickets to a Padres game, dinner and drinks at a down town restaurant and two nights at the OMNI hotel. The beneficiaries of the event are the F.O.C.A.S. program (Friends Of County Animal Shelters) at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society and the FACE foundation. The FACE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial assistance for San Diego animal owners who are unable to afford the cost of their pets’ emergency veterinary care. They aim to prevent economic pet euthanasia in San Diego County and La Jolla Veterinary Hospital whole-heartedly supports and recognizes the extraordinary efforts of this organization!
