Description
Unite with pet-lovers and animal welfare organizations around the globe on Thursday, September 22, 2016, with a worldwide pet candle-lighting ceremony. Now going into its fourth year, Remember Me Thursday® aims to unite individuals and pet adoption organizations around the world to be an unstoppable, integrated voice for orphan pets in need of forever homes.
2016 marks the second year that Madison County, Tennessee has been a part of this worldwide observance. This year the entire event will be pet friendly and in addition to honoring the memory of those companion animals that lost their lives without benefit of a loving home of their own, we will also have a memory walk for beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge.
