Cannonsburg Deck Paw-ty

Grab a doggie date and join us for some flippin’ fun… hot dog, burgers, and more that is! Now that the summer weather is here, come and join us on the huge dog-friendly deck of Cannonsburg Ski Lodge where we'll be chillin’ to the laid-back acoustic guitar tunes of David Holland. Plenty of shade for pups and people! #iheartwoofwalks Come hungry and dine on the delicious grill cuisine from Wendy Anderson. She’ll be serving burgers, hot dogs, brats, and pulled pork along with a variety of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages. Don’t forget to bring money for the grilled fare and cold drinks! For the pups- Teresa, from 616 Barkery and Gifts will be bringing some of her yummy gourmet treats and we’ll be sure to bring water and bowls for the pooches! For extra hot dogs, we’ll make sure to have a couple doggie pools out for cooling off;). Yellow Ribbons will be available for our doggie friends who need their space! When you arrive be certain to enter into the drawing for some fun prizes. Drawing will occur @ 12:30. We will be leading a short walk at the beginning of the event for those of you who want to get some activity in beforehand. However, you’re free to explore the Cannonsburg grounds on your own at any time or just hang back and enjoy the food, drinks, music and socializing on the deck. If you and your dog are up for some serious exercise, we won’t stop you from adding some ski hill climbs to your morning;). *Come and meet some of the GR Dog Adventures team, hang out with your friends, or meet some new friends at the most dog-friendly event of the day. *Angela, from The Barking Mitten, will be there with poo bags and prize give aways (pick up a ticket at the treat table to be entered to win)! *Jennifer, from Grumpy Pups Pet Photography, will be there to document all the happy dogs hanging with their favorite people, so you can show off your adorable pup later online! *Teresa, from 616 Barkery and Gifts has become a 'staple' at the GR Dog Adventures summer walk events and will be providing special treats for the pups. Your pup wants this. SCHEDULE & ROUTE Details to come on the schedule. The walk will be a short, hilly and shady mountain bike trail reserved just for us that day- yay! Please don’t go on any other mountain bike trails! We don’t want to cause any crashes!!! We're keeping the walk short so we can enjoy the food, beverages and music a little longer:). *Please no retractable leashes. *Please RSVP so we know how much to bring (especially the treats). *As usual, since we're getting a group of crazy dog-lovers together, we will collect donations (cash or supplies). Canned/dry dog food is always needed. This time, the donations will go to The Humane Society. You are not expected to do this, but we are always grateful for the donations we receive! We are also grateful to Cannonsburg for opening up their grounds and awesome deck to us!
