Description
Your dog can show off its best talents, while competing against fellow dogs, by bringing him or her to the first ever Animal Palooza. Hosted by Rockingham County Parks and Recreation, Animal Palooza is a dog competition to raise money for the Rockingham/Harrisonburg SPCA. Owners can register a dog to compete in up to three events for ten dollars per dog. The events consist of: Dog v. Food (Bobbing for Treats), Pup Pageant (Best Kisser, Eyes, Tail Wagger), Amazing K9 Race (Individual Timed Distraction Race), Dancing with the Dogs (Best Owner/Dog Dancing Duo), Rockingham Ruffs Got Talent (Dog's Best Talent). It is a rain or shine event and open to the public. Please bring a lawn chair and current rabies vaccination record.
