Barks in the Park

Woof Woof! 2016 is the 7th annual Gardiner Barks in the Park at Gardiner Waterfront Park. Last year was a great success and fun was had by all-man and beast! Rescue groups from around the region will be present to discuss their activities along with local veterinarians presenting information on issues facing pets and pet owners. Demonstrations by specialty dog trainers will be present during the event. The focus of the event will be to have a great day in the park with the dogs and to raise money to build the Gardiner Dog Park and other dog amenities. Proceeds from Barks In The Park go to fund a future dog park for Gardiner. Last year we raised in excess of $800. This year we hope to exceed that amount so that we can come even closer to our goal of $5,000. We’re looking for partners, vendors and participants for this year’s Barks in the Parks. We are in expectation of 500 + attentive canine lovers and enthusiasts.
