Description
Learn about animal assisted therapy and how to become a therapy animal team. Understand the options for getting training and testing for one of the national therapy animal organizations that register teams locally. Find out about the wealth of opportunities available in a multitude of settings to volunteer with your pet. Representatives from many of the local pet therapy programs will be on hand to share about their programs and how to get involved. For facilities that are interested in getting a program started, there will be a session for how to start a therapy animal program. Come and be a part of the therapy animal community and share the love!
