ENJOY THE FEST EVERY YEAR ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF OCTOBER. This year the Fest is on Saturday, October 1, 2016  All breeds welcome! Are you a Dachshund Lover? Do you enjoy the long and low things in life? What about being surrounded by hundreds of dachshunds of all sizes, types and colors? Well, then you must check out DachtoberFest on October 1, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M. Blessing of the animals, raffles, wiener races, costume parade, Woofminster Dog Show, and so much more...... All events open to all breeds except the Wiener Races. There is no admission charge to attend The Fest although we do encourage everyone to register. We also appreciate donations to help defray expenses.To participate in any event, registration is required. Costume Parade/Contest - Included in Fest Registration with a $5.00 (or more) Donation per person. Woofminster Dog Show $5.00 per dog Wiener Races $10.00 per dog Enjoy a full leisurely day at the Fest. Consider staying in Frederick one or two nights. Enjoy a Welcome Party Friday Night hosted by Stuie's Adventure Club and a complimentary Saturday Morning Breakfast where Dachshunds are Welcome. Please no Retractable Dog Leashes
