Admission: pre-register for $12; race-day registration for $15
Benefiting: Kingsport Animal Shelter
1 mile fun run/walk for people and their pets to support the Kingsport Animal Shelter. This event takes place in front of the Kingsport Christmas parade, so you will have lots of folks to encourage you along the way! Awards for top finishers. Doggie costume contest! Long-sleeve shirts for EVERYONE. Bandanas for the pets!

I think the race was very well run and organized and being at the location of the parade made for a very good morning. The only problem was the awards ceremony and results were very disorganized and slow. As cold as it was out there there could have been a better way and quicker way to conduct the ceremony.
