Jr. Showmanship is free as an additional class. $10.00 for Canine Good Citizenship Test. No pre-entries. Entries: Obedience entries: 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM, Judging at 10:00 AM. Rally entries: 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM, Judging at 10:00 AM. Jr. Showmanship and parade entries: 9:00 AM to Noon, Jr. Showmanship judging at 1:00 PM. Breed Conformation entries: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Judging at 1:00 PM. Conformation Classes: Puppies: 3 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months, 9 to 12 months. Adults: Novice and Open. All classes divided by sex. Judging assignments are for both Puppy and Adult classes. Obedience Classes: Beginner Novice, Novice A&B, Open A&B, Utility A&B, Graduate Novice, Graduate Open. Rally Classes: Rally Novice A & B, Rally Advanced A & B, Rally Excellent A & B. _______________________________________________________________ PRESENTATION: “Conformation Show Dog Handling – Tips and Techniques” A Free Educational Presentation at 11:00 AM. Great for New and Novice Handlers. Parade of Champions - Veterans - and Obedience Titleholders at 12:30 pm., Raffle at 12:50 pm. _______________________________________________________________ CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST entries: 8:00 AM - 8:50 AM -- CGC Test at 9:00 am – Open to mixed breeds. Remember to bring a dog brush & if AKC registered, the AKC Number to the test. _______________________________________________________________ DIRECTIONS: Veteran’s Memorial Park, 1st Ave and Krank St, Albany, NY 12202 From I-90, take I-787 South, and then take ‘Exit 2’ for Rte 32 and Port of Albany. At the light, continue straight across South Pearl St. onto First Ave., and proceed 2 1/2 blocks to the Little League park. From NYS Thruway Exit 23, take I-787 North, and then take first exit, ‘Exit 2’ for Port of Albany. There will be a second sign to the Port - take it to the first traffic light. At light, go left on Church St. to Rte 32. Then go Left (South) on Green St. (Rte 32) to the light at S. Pearl St. Then continue straight across South Pearl St. onto First Ave., and proceed 2 1/2 blocks to the park. _______________________________________________________________ Outdoor Rain or Shine -- Bring Water, Shade & Chairs _______________________________________________________________ All activities take place outdoors. This match will be governed by the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC). Open to registered AKC recognized breeds, (Obedience, Rally and CGC Test open to ‘All-American’ Mixed Breeds per the AKC). • See additional rules and agreements on the club’s website. • The Albany Kennel Club reserves the right to make any changes necessary. • NO DOGS WITH MAJORS.
