Join hundreds of groovy canines and their cool owners at the 7th annual IVHS “ Woofstock” Dog Walk on Saturday, May 31st, 2008. Walk this scenic 1, 2 or 3-mile route through Bonelli Park in San Dimas to support the animals of the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A.
This is a far out opportunity to participate in the coolest event of the year! From 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, you will be entertained with games and activities for your dog, sponsor booths, a Vendor Village filled with dozens of bow-wow pet Boutiques, breed rescue groups and pet information booths, as well as enjoy a morning of music, a free pancake breakfast, pet photos and so much more!
The annual IVHS dog walk is the biggest pet walk in the Inland Valley and we want to see you there! Everyone can take part, even if you don’t have a pet to walk!
You can choose to walk alone or form a team. A team is a group of 3 or more people who raise individually pledges that are reflected in their group’s total. You can gather your friends, family, co-workers, fellow dog-park members, anyone to form a team and walk together!
And starting in February you’ll be able to register online at www.firstgiving.com/ivhs and create your very own fundraising web pages, which you can email to all your friends and family to solicit their support. All the money raised by this event will go directly to the animals at the Inland Valley Humane Society. Plus, the more pledges you raise, the more prizes you (and your pooch) earn!
Grand prizes will be awarded to adult and children who raise the most pledges. Encourage your family and friends to sponsor you by collecting pledges and bringing them with you the day of the event.
