Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. Pet Friendly Vanlife Festival
Vanlife Festival Vanlife Festival welcomes all members of the family, including Fido, for a weekend of adventure and community. Attendees can showcase their unique vehicles, share experiences, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. There will be live music, traders & vendors, workshops, food & drinks, and more. Dog owners must keep their pets on a short lead and under control at all times. See Details
Bark on Biddle Shop, drink, and play with your dog at this fun-filled festival! The three-day event will be held on the riverfront (just off Oak Street, east of Biddle Avenue) and a grass section of Bishop Park. A variety of pet related vendors will be selling doggy fashion, unique toys, homemade items, and sampling dog food and treats to four-legged attendees. Fido can also play at Puppy Foam Party, compete in dock jumping competitions, or race through the Lucky Dogs Lure Course. For humans, there will be a beer garden and live music to enjoy! See Details
5k Beer Run x Midwest Coast Brewing Run, jog or just take a stroll with your canine friend at this event! Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a craft brew from Midwest Coast Brewing Co., a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet door prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games, goodies and giveaways. Bluegrass Pugfest This event offers attendees a fun-filled day of browsing over 40,000 square feet of vendors, silent auctions, raffles, demonstrations, wellness discussions, rescue booths and Pug competitions. Fredericksburg Crab Festival Come out to this fun annual festival that features delicious crab dishes (while supplies last), alongside seafood accompaniments, plus beer, wine and spirits! Leashed and well-behaved pups are welcome in the outdoor areas. No refunds will be issued. See Details
Animal Friends Dog Jog This annual event offers a day of family fun, including activities for your furry companions! Participants can join the competitive 5K race or the leisurely 1.5-mile Dog Jog, followed by a race party featuring Flubs ice cream, raffles, and an outdoor marketplace. Fido is welcome to join the dog jog and festivities on a leash. See Details
BridgeWay 5K Run This family-friendly event spans across the Mauldin Gateway Bridge and a portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, with proceeds from the 1-mile Fun Run benefiting Camp Worthy, a youth camp founded by Mauldin Police Officer Claudia Bonds. Finish the race with one free beer from BridgeWay Brewing Co. and festivities at Bridgeway Station. Leashed dogs are welcome, though please use discretion due to potentially hot ground along the route. See Details
Philly Area Corgi Picnic Bring your Corgi out for a picnic at the park! Registration is required. Proceeds benefit CorgiAid, which provides grants for Pembroke, Cardigan and mixed corgis in rescues or shelters that require medical care in order to find their forever homes. Summer Pop-up Celebrate summer with Fido while shopping over 75 vendors offering art, music, crafts, books, records and gifts. There will also be special performances by local dance clubs and a kids zone. See Details
Pints for Paws Bring your pup and check out one of the best fundraising events in the East Bay. Sample anything from beer, wine, cider, hand-crafted vodka or food from various vendors. Woof, Wag & Wine Visit Grand River Cellars, Debonne Vineyards and Cask 307 Winery to enjoy a food and wine pairing at each location. Your ticket price includes one visit to each business where you will be served an appetizer and wine samples. Fido will also receive a dog treat and bandana at each location. Your visit to Grand River Cellars, Debonne Vineyards and Cask 307 Winery can take place at any time during the month during business hours. The ticket price includes a $10 donation to the Lake Humane Society. See Details
Bark in the Park Bring Fido and the family out for a delightful day out in the park, filled with story time sessions for both pets and kids, pet vendors, exhibitions, adoptions, and much more! There will also be exciting contests with awards for the best costume, biggest dog, smallest dog, most exotic/unusual pet, and the best owner/pet lookalike duo. Poppy Love 5K Grab your sneakers and Fidos leash to participate in a timed 5K or 1-mile walk. Your furry friend will love the change of scenery as you race to the finish line. All proceeds will go towards Bella SPCA, a non-profit that assists low-income, elderly or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care and also find permanent loving homes for rescued animals. Buck Creek Winery Summer Concert Series Grab your leashed dog and your lawn chair and enjoy a fun, family-friendly concert on a summer's evening! Every Saturday evening this summer you can enjoy live music from artists including Duke Tumatoe, Colin Hawk, Island Breeze and Heartstone Crossing. A food truck will be present at each concert.
